Biography
After graduating as an anesthesiologist I did a year of residency in chronic pain at the Multidisciplinary Pain Clinic of AZ Nikolaas in 2018-2019, after which I joined the staff.
Since then I am dedicated to full time chronic pain managment, with a focus on the technical aspects (infiltrations, neuromodulation), trying to avoid treating patients with sedative and addictive medication. I have a special interest in facial pain and headache disorders, hence the topic of my PhD "Invasive neuromodulation therapies for the treatment of painful trigeminal neuropathy."
